Summer Celly League Regular Season Wraps Up

Edina, MN - The Summer Celly League shifted to Braemar Arena for the remainder of the season to complete the regular season schedule.  Three games were played on each day, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  Pull Tab Sports was in action for two of those games lost to Lake Cowgirl 8-5 and Tradition Mortgage 6-1.  TRIA topped Ace Hardware 6-5 in an intense battle on Saturday afternoon.  The games over the weekend solidified the playoff picture with the brackets announced Sunday evening.  

Playoffs Set 

TRIA won the regular season with a 5-1 record and earned the top seed in the single elimination playoff format.  Their victory over Ace Hardware on Saturday pushed Ace into the play-in game as the 4 seed.  Ace will faceoff with Pull Tab Sports to open the Summer Celly League Playoffs on Friday night August 4th, at 7:40pm.  The winner will advance to play top seeded TRIA.  

The semi-finals will move to Saturday with TRIA and the winner of Ace/Pull Tab opening the action at 10:40am.  Lake Cowgirl and Tradition Mortgage will square off in the second semi-final of the day, scheduled for a 12:20pm start.  

The first annual Celly League Cup will be battled for on Sunday, August 6th at 10:40am.  Minnesota Wild’s John deCausmeaker will be on hand to sing the national anthem for the championship game on Sunday morning.   

9 Celly League Players to USA Camp

9 players that perform in the Summer Celly League will be heading to New York to participate in the USA camp.   The camp is an annual festival for potential USA National team players that qualify on skill and age. Players from the league that were invited include:

Playoff Package Available
